Dr Alistair McAlpine is a dual qualified medical doctor and dentist, completing his BDS (Bachelor of Dental Science) at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2005, followed by his MBBCh (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery) also at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2010. He holds various accolades including top student in Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine, Periodontology, General Medicine and General Surgery.

He also has numerous scientific publications to his name, and is still heavily involved in research and development. Subsequently he has become an internationally recognised trainer and educator for various aesthetic companies especially with dermal fillers and botulinum toxin, and has more than 10 years experience with hormone optimisation for both male and female patients.

He is also a regular presenter at various aesthetic medicine congresses locally and abroad and has been a contributor to a prominent aesthetic magazine in South Africa, writing various articles aiming to educate the public about aesthetic medicine and hormonal health. His holistic, scientific and evidence medicine based approach to aesthetic and hormonal medicine ensures cutting edge results for his patients using the latest knowledge and techniques in the field.
